Pony Racing at Whittington
Pony racing was held at Whittington for the first time last year and due to is success and popularity it will take place a both meetings this year. The pony races take place on the flat over about 4.5 furlongs, providing young aspiring jockeys with an opportunity to experience racing. The hope is that this may encourage more local participation in the sport and help to promote the family horse and jockey teams we are accustomed to at Whittington.
